THE VENUE:

Do you have a required vendor list? No, but we are more than happy to provide recommendations, we have wonderful working relationships with many vendors. Couples can choose to source vendors (full-service catering, florists, photographers, etc.) from anywhere, so long as vendors are licensed and insured.

Do you include tables, chairs, and linens? YES, you are welcome to use all of our tables (round and long), our white resin folding chairs, and linens are included in the rental price.

Are there music volume ordinances or policies? Currently, there is no local noise ordinance. However, we do require that reasonable noise levels be maintained and Faithbrooke reserves the right to request that music be turned down . We strive to be good neighbors to those around us. Music should cease by 11pm.

Where can guests stay in the area? We are blessed to be very close to many unique lodging options. Luray boasts the title "Cabin Capital" of Virginia, there are many nearby bed and breakfasts, as well as local hotels. We would be happy to provide specific recommendations if you let us know the needs of your guests.

What is there to do in the area? Luray and the surrounding area is full of unique opportunities for visitors. There are many options, including activities on the Shenandoah River, the Shenandoah National Park, and many other ways to spend time outdoors. The Blue Ridge Whiskey Wine Loop is a great way to explore local craft beverages. In addition, the shops, cafes, and restaurants of the Downtown Luray are a great place to relax.

Do you offer wedding/event coordination services?

We require that all clients have a professional day-of coordinator. This is a service that Faithbrooke can provide as an add-on, or you can hire a professional coordinator of your choosing. Having a professional coordinator ensures that your day is not only well-planned, but well-executed.. Many unexpected circumstances can arise on even the best wedding day and it really helps to have someone who is tasked with making sure everything runs smoothly.

What is required at check out? Before guests check out, all personal belongings should be removed. All trash should be bagged and placed in the dumpster. Otherwise, we'll take care of cleaning (floors, restrooms, etc.).

What is your alcohol policy? We allow beer, wine, and spirits to be served at Faithbrooke, but all drinks must be served by a third-party bartender (usually available through your caterer or hired separately). Self-serve alcohol, beverages stored in vehicles for consumption on premises, or underage drinking is not allowed and all guests must consume beverages responsibly. Please contact the VA Dept. of Alcoholic Beverage Control to verify the need for any kind of licensing for an event.

Do you allow dogs? Friendly canines are allowed on site for your ceremony, but must leave the premises once the ceremony is over. There are even local kennels that provide pet transport and boarding.

Is Faithbrooke licensed and insured? Yes. Additionally, like many reputable venues, we require our clients to purchase a single-day event policy. Complete coverage is in everyone's best interest and this policy is generally available for a nominal fee from most insurance providers.

What type of events can you host? Weddings are our specialty, but we are ready and able to host all manner of special event. We have hosted numerous corporate functions from the nearby Washington DC area, corporate holiday parties, non-profit fundraising dinners, etc. Please inquire about availability, we would love to hear from you.

How near are you to cities and airports? Faithbrooke is well-situated as a weekend destination. We are just 90 minutes from the Washington DC Beltway, 90 minutes from Charlottesville, VA, and quite close to the smaller cities of Harrisonburg and Winchester, VA. The nearest major airport is Dulles International (IAD), but Charlottesville, VA (CHO) is equidistant and Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport (SHD) is now offering direct flights to Chicago and Washington DC.
